
Our Fleet
Our fleet reflects the broad and inclusive nature of Newburgh Sailing Club. Members sail a wide variety of boats, from single-handed dinghies to double-handers and family-friendly classes.
In addition, the club owns several boats which are used for training, taster sessions and supported sailing. These boats are also available for hire outwith training, making sailing accessible for everyone.

Single Handed Boats

Single-handed boats are sailed by one person and are a great way to develop independence and confidence on the water. They suit both new sailors building skills and experienced sailors who enjoy the challenge and freedom of sailing alone.

Double Handed Boats

Double-handed boats are sailed by two people working together as helm and crew. They are ideal for learning teamwork, sailing with friends or family, and are often the boats used for racing and coached sailing at the club.

Accessible Boats

Our accessible boats are designed to provide extra stability and support, allowing sailors of all ages and physical abilities to experience being on the water safely and comfortably. They enable more people to take part in sailing and enjoy the river regardless of experience or mobility.
