Sailing update – Week ending 26 April

⛵ A great weekend at Newburgh Sailing Club

Saturday saw the first and final races of the Spring Series, with 5 boats out in light winds and some challenging sailing conditions.
👏 Congratulations to Scott on taking the overall win!

Sunday was our Open Day — and what a success it was!
We welcomed 24 people down to the club, with 21 getting their very first session on the water ⛵

It was fantastic to see so many new faces enjoying sailing and making the most of the beautiful weather ☀️

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make it happen — from the shore team, instructors and rescue crew, to the kitchen team and all those who baked some brilliant goodies 🍰

Everything at the club is run by volunteers, and days like this simply wouldn’t happen without you all. 🙌

👉 If you’d like to get involved — whether that’s on the water or helping behind the scenes — we’d love to have you along.
